CHILI TO DIE FOR

CHILI TO DIE FOR

Ingredients:

1 lb. ground Beef
1 lb. ground Pork
2 can diced Tomatoes
1 can Kidney Beans
1 can Black Beans
Onion, diced
2 Jalapenos, deseeded, minced, or pickled (in the jar)
Hot Sauce, to taste
Salt and Ground Pepper to taste
Sugar to taste (3 Tbs)
Dash of Garlic Powder
Dash of Onion Powder
Olive Oil, 2 Tbs
Sour Cream, to taste
Large pot

Combine:

Sauté onion in oil, remove before they brown
Add Pork and Beef, sauté till browned, then drain fat
Add Beans and Tomatoes
Add Salt and Pepper to taste, Sugar, Garlic Powder, and Onion Powder
Add Jalepenos
Simmer on low until you can’t take it any more, at least 45 minutes covered

Serve:

Ladle into bowl, add Dollop of Sour Cream
Hot Sauce to taste
Serve over Rice (optional)
Serve with Saltines
